Students will have 5 lessons a week and are expected to complete at least 5 hours of independent study a week.
During the course you will learn different topics, such as memory, attachment, social influence, forensic psychology and mental health. You will gain a vast knowledge of why people behave the way they do and implement that knowledge to real life examples.
Psychology contains elements of other subjects within it – maths and biology. Due to this we ask for a grade 5 in maths and a grade 5 in biology in order to grasp all the concepts.

Paper 2 96 marks – Topics in psychology
Paper 3 96 marks – Issues and debates in psychology
Our general entry requirements are that you will need a minimum of five Grade 5s or above in your GCSEs to study A-Levels including Maths & English
